About

I’m a 41 year old four-time cancer survivor. Currently unemployed save for a part-time job at Starbucks. I’m looking for work in the marketing, PR, social media, or Non-profit industries. I’ve spent most of my career in radio (hence the user-name) as a Marketing/Promotions Director and DJ. I have also worked as an Event Manager (fundraiser) for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and am currently serving as the Publicity Chairperson for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of New Milford, Connecticut.

I have been a guitarist for my entire life and music is a central part of my being. I am going to use this forum to discuss anything that may occur to me at any given time… work (or lack thereof), music, cancer, relationships, and life in general.

Hey just want to tell you I think your blog is great. Definately a great creative outlet for you.
Keep up the good work and If i can think of anything for you to write about I will
The one think that always struck me about radio is how anyone listened to Mister Morning
    I think he sucks
but anythoughts why people like him would be something I would like to know

I just came across your blog after discovering a link to your post on the radio performance tax. I too wrote a blog on that idea after reading a bit about it on the Web site of a Christian radio station I listen to on a regular basis.
I love the idea you have here of posting your resume on your blog. As an unemployed journalist myself I think that’s an excellent idea that I’m going to employ myself.

It can’t hurt, Todd. The more places that your resume can be, the more people might see it. Thank you for reading and commenting! I’m subscribing to your blog.

    Eric,

I am looking for some help with the radio promotion of the song “If”, which draws its lyrics and inspiration from the famous Kipling’s poem. Please contact me for details if you might be interested in this project or at least if you would have some time to share the inside wisdom from working for years at the radio.

    Sincerely,

    Michael
